After receiving a BS in animal science from Texas A&M University, she moved to Lexington, Kentucky to complete her veterinary school education. In the following years, she developed a private practice that focused on thoroughbred racehorses and also gained extensive training in acupuncture as both a richardson veterinary clinic and therapeutic tool.
Shyquinca Ford knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with animals.
